- Living-room - (23ft. x 15ft.) with inglenook fireplace, settees, TV and French windows opening onto a large terrace.

- Kitchen/dining area - measuring 23ft. x 18ft. A solid wood refectory table with seating for 8/10 is at the centre of this room with a range of kitchen cupboards in antique pine to one side; for storage there is a large cherry-wood wardrobe. The original brick 'potagère' has been retained as a feature to store wine bottles. The kitchen is equipped with ceramic topped cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. A large inglenook fireplace dominates this room in which has been installed a cast-iron wood-burning stove used during the winter months with the supply of logs kept at the farm.

- Bedroom 1 - master bedroom (23ft. x 15ft.) with en suite bathroom /toilet. From the windows can be seen the whole of the valley and the Pyrenees in the distance when the weather is clear.

The Garden
The French windows of the living-room open onto a terrace with large fixed barbecue and garden table to seat 8. The terrace overlooks the three quarters of an acre of sloping garden surrounded by fruit-bearing trees such as walnut, fig, plum, pear and fir trees.

| The swimming pool (measuring 11m. x 5 m.) is surrounded by fir trees for privacy on one side with grass and palm trees on the other. The swimming pool is equipped with underwater lighting and Roman steps. It is run on a salt electrolyser system which reduces significantly the need for chlorine. La Bergerie is situated at the end of a private road. |
